Range of services
Stahlwerk Bous GmbH currently manufactures around 800 steel grades with chrome contents of up to 16% and nickel contents of up to 4%. The tramp element level can be limited to very low values by means of targeted scrap selection. The extremely flexible metallurgical concept used by Bous offers a range of advantages:
- high analytical precision
- precise temperature control in the ladle using a ladle furnace
- homogeneous melts
More than 96% of all melts generated are degased under vacuum, whereby hydrogen contents of less than 1.5 ppm are achieved. Steel from Stahlwerk Bous GmbH is distinctive on account of its impressively high degree of purity as well as the fact that it is available in a wide variety of formats as both ingot and continuous casting.
